About Clarity Therapy

1691202109Another round on the rat wheel…

When you are out living life – on a date, at church, watching your kids, or at work – you’re on edge, waiting for the other shoe to drop.

You feel it in your body: the clenched jaw, pumping heart, tense shoulders, and flighty feet.

Whether it’s panic attacks, stress, PTSD, depression, or some other label, it’s keeping you running in circles, feeling depleted and alone.

These symptoms are alarms.

They’re telling you it is time to be the master of your mind and body. Learning to listen to your alarms will be part of our work together.

When you do, you’ll learn what your symptoms mean, how to manage them, and how to reduce them.

In time, your alertness and high-adrenaline states will be under your control!

This space will give you a much-needed timeout.

The idea of slowing down or stepping back might give you anxiety, but it’s okay!

When you’re accustomed to a fast environment that demands instant decision-making, pausing and just BEING still can feel uncomfortable – even paralyzing.

But you need that space to share your fears, frustrations, and pains… and to remember who you are!

657236170I have a distinct therapy approach.

During our time together, we’ll explore memories that got shoved down and repressed.

We will notice your pain. We’ll describe it… touch it… even draw it. Intertwining body and mind therapies with intuition and science, you will leverage your pain to help you reach greater self-control and confidence.

Then, we will use small, incremental tasks to help alleviate that pain. Like life, therapy is work. We’ll learn, relearn, and practice your skills until you feel you’ve mastered your tasks and accomplished your goals.

Along the way, we’ll celebrate your triumphs, big and small.

Some people think therapy is for the weak.

They think, “Therapy is for people who are crazy or having a mental breakdown.”

But here’s the truth…

Therapy is for anyone who wants to talk to their spouse, kids, and family without yelling, throwing things, or walking out.

Therapy is for people who want to enjoy what they do without numbing out in their spare time.

Therapy is for you.

Get ready to see, think, and feel more clearly.

As you become more focused, life will feel more manageable, and pausing to re-center yourself will be as automatic as breathing.

You’ll feel lighter and sharper… because you’ll have my full support.

About Me

Q4peuotwqnllpr4Light and dark are a part of life.

I was raised a devout Catholic by veterans, so the concept of lightness and darkness is very familiar to me.

It’s my calling and pleasure to pick up the torch for those who have sat in their darkness for too long. When the darkness lasts too long, let me carry your torch and guide you back to the light.

My goal is to walk with you through your darkness to discover who you’ve always wanted to be.

Some other things about me…

Before I was a therapist, I was an educator dedicated to helping others build their self-confidence, resilience, and ability to communicate in the worst conditions.

I’m also a Texas girl, through and through! When I am not in session, you’ll find me…

Chowing down on some good brisket…

Soaking up that Texas sun by the pool or lake…

Hitting I-35 or I-45 for my next adventure…

… or spending time with family.
